What Mailward is

Mailward reads publicly available DNS records for domains you submit and reports what it finds. It reports DNS configuration state. It does not certify, guarantee or predict email deliverability, and a good grade is not a promise that your mail reaches the inbox.

The DKIM limitation, stated plainly

DKIM selectors cannot be enumerated from DNS. There is no record that lists them. Mailward probes a ranked list of selectors used by common providers. A result of “no DKIM key found” therefore means none of the selectors we probed answered — it is not evidence that the domain has no DKIM. Providers that use per-account tokens will not be detected unless you pin the selector yourself. Do not represent our DKIM result to a third party as proof of absence.

Fair use

Anonymous scanning is limited to 10 scans per minute and 100 per day per IP address. Automated bulk scanning, resale of raw scan access, or use of the service to probe infrastructure you have no relationship with is not permitted.

White-label reports

Paid plans let you present reports under your own branding to your own clients. You remain responsible for what you tell your clients. If you remove our name from a report, you also assume responsibility for its interpretation.

Availability and liability

The service is provided as-is with no warranty. Monitoring runs once per day; we do not guarantee that a change will be detected within any particular window, nor that an alert will be delivered. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Billing

Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancel at any time through the billing portal; access continues to the end of the paid period. One-time purchases are not subscriptions and do not renew.
